We enroll adolescent girls ages 12-17, from across America. We work specifically with girls who are struggling with anger, loss of care for their future, and other self-destructive activities. Thrive Girls Academy accepts new students on a year-round basis. We often have availability for immediate enrollment opportunities.

The First Step is for Us to Talk

Call us at 512-545-2226 to begin, or fill in the inquiry form on this site to get a call-back at a time that is convenient for you. When you call, our admissions team will discuss your girl’s needs and your family’s situation, as well as answer your questions about this program. After that, if you wish to proceed, we’ll send you the application and help you work through the admissions process, step by step.

Application and Enrollment Process

After we have initially talked, our enrollment application can be submitted without charge. We will provide that to you. It is a long form, so you’ll not want to fill that out until we are sure that your child is a good candidate for our program.

Once your girl is accepted and all admissions criteria are met, we will work with you to set up the admission. Should transport be required, please let us know.

For Everyone’s Safety, We Do Not Enroll Girls Who:

Have a serious mental deficit or psychological illness
Have demonstrated aggressive same-sex predatory behaviors
Have significant developmental delay
Have uncontrollable fits of anger leading to someone being hurt
Have been convicted of violent lawbreaking or arson
Have a significant or communicable health condition or illness requiring ongoing care
Have a serious allergy (ask us)

Funding Solutions

Prosper Healthcare Lending

Thrive Girls Academy has partnered with Prosper HealthCare Lending as a potential lender. Prosper HealthCare Lending simplifies the process of paying for our ministry. You’ll learn quite quickly if you qualify for a loan. Only apply after you have started the application process and we deem your daughter a good fit for our ministry. Ask us for the contact link.

Church or Civic Organization

Sometimes the church or civic organization that a parent belongs to will assist with treatment costs. Discussing your situation with the Pastor of your church or president of your group may lead to financial assistance.

Community Support

Most families network with their friends and family to help raise the funds required for the ministry.

Tax-Deductible Gifts

Please remember that even though Teen Challenge of Texas is a 501c (3) charitable organization, we are not able to provide a tax-deductible receipt for any payment that is designated towards a student’s tuition, board or other schooling costs. Undesignated gifts to our ministry’s general fund are tax-deductible.

Insurance

Typically, insurance does not pay for any part of your girl’s time at Thrive Girls Academy since we are licensed as a boarding school, not a residential treatment center (such facilities often cost 2-3 times more than what we charge). In any event, you should contact your insurance provider.
