The most vital element of our program at Thrive Girls Ranch is our emphasis on Christian values. The most important change any troubled young woman can make is in their heart. In other programs, girls may be able to just comply with the rules until they graduate, only to return to their old ways as soon as they’ve left. That’s why we place such a heavy emphasis on leading our students in the way of the Christian faith. While your daughteris with us at Thrive Girls Ranch & Home, she will take part in Bible studies, chapel services, and regular worship. In addition to these activities, she will be fully immersed in our carefully cultivated peer culture. Through therapy and the experiential aspects of our program, girls develop what we call positive peer culture. What this means is that your daughter will be guided and supported not only by our passionate staff but also by her own peers. Oftentimes, troubled girls can relate to each other better than they could ever relate to an authority figure. As a parent, this is probably a fact you know all too well! This bond can be invaluable in supporting the changes these young women are trying to make.
